THREE CHEESE LASAGNA 
Makes 1 large and small dish: 1 can be frozen until needed.

1 qt. jar spaghetti sauce
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. lasagna noodles
1 sm. carton Ricotta cheese or sm. curd cottage cheese
2 (12 oz.) pkgs. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1 jar grated Parmesan cheese or Romano

Brown beef, drain off any fat. Put into large sauce pan and sauce and all spices. Simmer 1 hour or less.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Prepare noodles using box directions. (8 noodles for larger dish 8 x 13 x 2) (4 noodles for smaller dish 7 x 12 x 2.) Drain water off noodles, pat dry. Beat eggs and mix in Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese. Grease both dishes, layer as follows:

1. Noodles

2. Cheese mixture

3. Meat sauce

4. Mozzarella

5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese

Repeat twice for 2 layers of everything. Cover with foil bake 45 minutes to 1 hour remove foil for last 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
