2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk, scalded
5 tbsp. Grape Nut cereal
1 tbsp. butter

Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in bowl. Add scalded milk gradually; mix thoroughly. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole or custard cups. Sprinkle with cereal. Dot with butter. Place casserole or cups in pan of hot water. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes until set.
