TERIYAKI CHIC-KETTS | |
1/2 c. water 3/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. ginger (optional) 1 lb. Chic-ketts 1 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs Combine water, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger (if used). Tear Chic-ketts into pieces approximately 2 x 1 x 1/2 inch. Marinate Chic-ketts pieces in soy sauce mixture for 2 hours. Drain marinated Chic-ketts. Coat pieces with bread crumbs. Deep fat fry in vegetable oil at 375 degrees for 1 minutes. Drain on absorbent towels. May be served as an appetizer or an entree. Serves 6 to 8. |
