CHINESE CUCUMBER SALAD 
3 med. cucumbers

Peel and take out seeds. Slice. Let stand in 1 teaspoon salt per cucumber for 30 minutes. Squeeze out water, place slices in jar. Boil: 1/2 c. sugar

Pour over cucumbers in jar while boiling hot. Chill 24 hours.

HINT: Cut cucumbers in half lengthwise, scrape out seeds with a spoon.
