SECRET KISS COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
1 pkg. milk chocolate kisses
Confectioners' sugar

At medium speed, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts, beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough.

Remove foil from kisses. Use one tablespoon of dough, shape it around a chocolate kiss and roll to make a ball. Be sure to cover kiss completely. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 375 for 12 minutes or until cookies are set but not brown. While still warm roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 40 cookies.
