RAY'S KIELBASA BEAN SOUP 
1 pkg. of bean soup mix (16 oz.)
1 lg. onion
1 clove garlic
1 (28 oz.) can of crushed tomatoes
1 lg. carrot
2 sm. green peppers
1 sprig of basil (or 1 tsp.)
10 inch of kielbasa
Salt
Pepper
Oregano

S oak beans in pot overnight. Add enough water to cover beans by 3 inches. Cut kielbasa into 1/2 inch slices. Put kielbasa slices into pan, fill with 1 cup water. Cook kielbasa 15 minutes, set aside. Add 9 cups of water to soup pot, put on stove medium heat.

Add to the pot: soaked beans, diced onion, diced clove of garlic, crushed tomatoes, sliced carrot, sliced green peppers, sprig of basil (1 teaspoon), sliced kielbasa, shake (pinch) of oregano, pepper, salt. Simmer for 2 hours and serve.
