HAM CASSEROLE 
2 c. cubed soft bread
1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. melted butter

Line a buttered baking dish with half of above mixture. Add:

1 c. cooked peas or other vegetable.

2 tbsp. minced onion
3 tbsp. melted butter

3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Stir in 1 cup milk or a little more. Cook until thickened.

1 c. cooked ham
2 hard-boiled eggs

Pour over vegetable in casserole. Arrange tomato slices on top. Cover with remaining bread mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
