1 stick butter
1 c. Crisco or lard
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
5 egg yolks, beat egg whites stiff, fold in last
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
3 1/2 oz. Angle Flake coconut
1 c. nuts

Bake at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Makes 3 layers.

ICING:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) box Philadelphia cream cheese

Put between layers and top and sides.

Makes a big cake. It's real good!
