BANANA NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 bananas, mashed
1/4 c. milk
2 c. nuts

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured angel food cake pan.

Bake at 300°F until golden brown and firm.
