SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dairy sour cream

Melt chocolate, butter and water. Cool slightly, measure and mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. To dry mixture, add eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate mixture. Beat until blended. Fold in sour cream. Pour into 2 (8 inch) greased and floured cake pans or 1 (9x13 inch) pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Frost with your favorite chocolate or vanilla frosting.
