RICE AND PEAS 
1 (1.5 oz.) can peas
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. water
1 c. rice

Saute onion in oil. Add paprika and peas plus water. Bring to a boil. Add rice, cover and turn on low heat and simmer 45-55 minutes.
