SWEDISH DARK BREAD 
1 heaping c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. Mazola oil
1/2 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 pt. boiling water
1 cake or pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 1/2 c. sifted flour

Combine oatmeal, brown sugar, salt, Mazola oil, molasses and caraway seed. Add boiling water. Let mixture stand then add yeast and flour; knead mixture good, being careful not to add more flour, then needed to keep from sticking.

Let rise to double in bulk in warm place, knead again and shape into 2 loaves. Let rise again until double. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
