ITALIAN BEAN & SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 c. beef broth
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 green pepper, diced
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. Italian seasonings
1 (16 oz.) can pork & beans
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. sugar

Brown and crumble sausage; drain. Combine other ingredients and add to meat. Cover and cook in microwave on high for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes; turn and cook 5 minutes more. Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired. Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
