NO PEEK CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut in 1 inch cubes 1 env. Lipton onion soup mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained 1/2 c. red wine Mix all ingredients well. Bake at 300 degrees in a covered casserole dish for 3 1/2 hours. No peeking until cooking time is up. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR DURING COOKING. Remove casserole from the oven and let stand for 30 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
