1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
Dash of green vegetable food coloring

Cream shortening adding sugar gradually, add unbeaten egg, dry ingredients, flavoring and a few drops of vegetable coloring; mix well. Fill a microwave cookie press with dough and the tree plate. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
