DUTCH FUNNEL CAKES 
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 1/3 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Oil for deep frying
Confectioners sugar

Blend egg and milk in bowl; add next 6 dry ingredients, mixing well. Heat 1 1/2 inches of oil to 375 degrees in skillet. Pour batter into funnel with 1/2 inch spout. Drizzle batter into hot oil in spiral. Deep fry for 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
