RITZ CRACKER TORT 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. chopped English walnuts
1 c. sugar
14 Ritz crackers
Cool Whip

Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Gradually beat in sugar and baking powder. Fold in coarsely broken crackers and nuts. Spread in greased pie plate or square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Fold chocolate chips into Cool Whip. Put over cooled meringue. Refrigerate at least an hour.
