GREEN ENCHILADA CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 sm. onion, chopped Salt to taste 1 can tomatoes 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 sm. can chopped green chilies 1 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. ground marjoram 1 dozen tortillas 2 c. sharp cheese, grated Brown meat, drain. Add onion, green chilies and garlic. Simmer 10 minutes. Add cut up tomatoes, soup, and spices. Simmer 15 minutes. In lightly greased casserole dish, place 6 tortillas, 1/2 of meat mixture, and 1/2 of the cheese. Add 6 more tortillas, meat, top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
