1 c. hot, dry mashed potatoes, unseasoned
1/2 c. scalded milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
Flour for soft dough (about 1 1/2 lb.)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. orange rind
2 tbsp. lemon rind
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. mace

Cream butter and sugar; add potatoes; mix well. Add lukewarm milk, then eggs; mix well. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to mixture. Combine seasonings and rinds; mix in. Add enough flour to make soft dough. Knead on well floured table.
