1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onion
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped green chilis
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
12 corn tortillas

Brown hamburger and drain. Add onion, cook until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, chilis and chili powder and salt. Simmer 10 minutes.

Layer tortillas, then meat sauce, then cheese in 2 stacks in shallow baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 6.
