RUSTY PELICAN'S CHEESE AND
GARLIC TOAST
 
2 oz. mayonnaise
3 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
4 oz. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 drops hot pepper sauce
1 loaf French sourdough bread, sliced in 1/4 inch slices

Mix all except bread, keep at room temperature. Toast bread slices under broiler, turnover and spread mixture generously on untoasted side. Broil again until golden brown. Serve hot and crispy!

As I have never been to the Rusty Pelican, I did not know what to expect. I will have to try it again, because my first time to make these did not turn out the way that I had hoped. They were a little dry, and there were a lot of these left on the table.
