TEXAS HASH 
3 tbsp. fat
3 onions
1 green pepper
1 lb. beef
2 c. tomatoes
1 c. uncooked rice or 2 c. noodles
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook onions and peppers in fat until onions are yellow. Add beef and fry until beef falls apart (about half done). Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees covered. Last 15 minutes remove cover.
