SWEDISH KRINGLE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
2 tsp. almond flavoring

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Enough milk to spread

Mix first 3 ingredients as for pie crust. Pat out on cookie sheet in 2 long strips.

Heat the next 2 ingredients in saucepan to boiling point. Remove from the heat. Add the flour. Stir until mixture leaves sides of pan. Remove from heat.

Add 3 eggs, one at a time. Beat after each addition until smooth. Add 2 tsp. of almond flavoring. Spread mixture on top of unbaked crust. Bake 50-60 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool slightly.

Frost with next 4 ingredients - powdered sugar, butter, almond flavoring and milk.
