SWEDISH KRINGLE 
PART 1:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. water

PART 2:
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

PART 3:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. cream
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. almond extract

PART 1: Cut flour and butter until resembles coarse crumbs. Add water, mix until pastry is damp. Pat into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

PART 2: In saucepan, heat water and butter to boiling. Remove from stove and add flour, a little at a time until smooth. Beat eggs in one at a time until smooth. Add almond extract. Spread over pastry. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

PART 3: When cool, frost with this mixture. Can top with slivered almonds and red and green chopped cherries. Cut into 12 to 15 pieces.
