SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE 
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
6 slices bacon, cut in pieces
1 med. onion, chopped

Place cabbage, vinegar, water and sugar in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cut bacon into pieces and fry, adding onion. Saute until tender. Add to cabbage. Simmer until cabbage is tender. Add additional water, if necessary.
