FIBER RICH WAFFLES | |
1/2 c. All Bran 1 egg 3/4 c. milk 1 c. Bisquick 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1/4 c. raisins Beat egg and milk. Pour over All Bran and allow to sit 3 to 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, and mix just enough to moisten dry ingredients. If too thin, add a little more Bisquick. If too thick, add a little more milk. Bake in pre-heated waffle iron. Serve with honey, syrup or sweetened fruit. Variation: Add 1/2 to 1/4 tsp. cinnamon; 1/4 tsp. nutmeg; 1 tbsp. sugar and 1/2 apple, chopped. Makes 5 (4 x 4) waffles. |
