CINNAMON NUT KUCHEN 
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Dash of salt
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pt. sour cream

NUT MIXTURE:

6 tbsp. softened butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix well until crumbly.

Cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla well. Add eggs; beat well. Add flour, soda, powder, and salt. Blend in sour cream. Spread 1/2 of batter into greased tube cake pan. Sprinkle half of nut mixture. Spread remaining batter on top and sprinkle on remaining nut mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. The longer the kuchen is kept, the better it is!
