CINNAMON NUT KUCHEN (GERMANY) 
FILLING:

6 tbsp. butter (do NOT melt)
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. ground pecans

Combine and set aside.

CAKE:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla well. Add eggs and beat well. Mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the flour mixture alternately with sour cream.

Grease angel food cake pan. Add half of batter mixture. Drop half of filling mixture in small pieces over batter. Add rest of batter and drop the rest of the filling in batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. ALLOW TO COOL IN PAN. DO NOT INVERT. If desired, drizzle with powdered sugar and milk mixture.
