WEIGHT WATCHERS "FRIED" APPLE
PIES
 
1 pkg. pita bread (12, 2 oz. each)
12 sm. apples, peeled & sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
6 pkg. Equal

Cook apples in lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients. Cut pitas in half and fill each with 1/2 of mixture. Mash edges of pita with a fork. Brown in skillet sprayed with Pam. Makes 12 (1 pie = 1 B, 1 Fr, 10 O.C.)
