FRIED APPLE PIES 
2 c. dried apples or fresh apples, cut and diced
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (10 ct.) can biscuits
corn oil

Place apples in a saucepan. Add water just to cover. Simmer 6 to 8 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Separate biscuits and roll each to 1/2-inch thickness. Place 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of cooked apples on each round. Fold dough over apple mixture and crimp edges with a fork to seal. Heat 1-inch of oil in skillet on medium-high. Cook pie for about 2 minutes. Drain pies. Enjoy.
