QUICK YEAST ROLLS | |
2 pkgs. active Rapid Rise yeast 2 c. warm water 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. oil 7 c. flour (plain) 1/2 c. dry milk (optional) 1 tsp. salt Empty yeast, water, sugar, let stand until dissolved. Sift flour, dry milk and salt. Add to liquid alternating with oil. Mix and knead at least 5 minutes. Let rise about 1 hour. Shape and roll into rolls. Let double in size and bake at 450 degrees for about 15-18 minutes. Can refrigerate unused portion. Yields: 25 rolls. |
