EASY BAKED APPLES 
9 apples
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups boiling water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Peel and core apples. Cut apples in half and place in bottom of 9x13-inch baking dish.

In saucepan, melt butter and add flour. Stir in rest of ingredients until smooth and bubbly. Pour on top of apples and bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
