1 chocolate cake mix
1 lg. box chocolate pudding (not instant)
1 jar maraschino cherries (chopped)
1 lg. Cool Whip

Bake cake as directed (use glass pan). Cool completely. Prepare pudding; cool. Spread cherries over cake. Spread pudding over cherries. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Keep refrigerated.
