UPSIDE DOWN POPOVER PIZZA | |
1 lb. pork sausage or ground beef 1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce 1 medium onion, chopped 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. Wondra flour 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thin slice 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 c. Wondra flour 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Cook and stir sausage or beef to brown. Add pizza sauce, onions, pepper, and 2 tablespoons flour. Boil 1 minute. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan; arrange cheese slices on top. Beat eggs, milk, oil, 1 cup flour, and salt with mixer until smooth. Pour over cheese; sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 425 degrees. |
