CHOCOLATE ROLL WITH PRALINE
TOPPING
 
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. cold water

Mix on high eggs, vanilla and 3/4 cup sugar. Add and mix on slow about 30 seconds the flour, baking powder and salt. Melt chocolate. Stir into melted chocolate the 2 tablespoons sugar, baking soda and cold water. Add this mixture to batter and fold in quickly. Pour into jelly roll pan that has been greased, floured and wax paper. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove wax paper. Roll loosely in tea towel. Cool 1 hour. Fill with sweetened whipped cream.

PRALINE TOPPING:

2/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
Salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. flour

Combine all ingredients. Cook 2 minutes or more.
