DEEP DISH APPLE CRISP 
5 apples (more depending on size of dish)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Peel and slice apples. Mix with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Put in 33 x 23 inch pie dish. For topping, beat eggs and sugar. Add melted butter. Beat well. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt. Add vanilla. Spread mixture over top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with whip cream or ice cream.
