TOMATO SOUP CAKE 
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can tomato soup
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
1 tsp. baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & salt

Cream butter and sugar. Sift together dry ingredients except soda. Add soda to soup, then stir all together. Add dates and nuts. Pour into greased oblong pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
