Prepare 1 package Duncan Hines spice cake mix according to directions, using:

1 (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped nuts and raisins

Bake in 2 layer pans (2) or (1) tube greased and floured. Bake temperature at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until done. Remove to rack and cool. Frost with the following frosting.

GOLDEN BUTTER FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. milk or buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
