GRANDMA "B'S" PASTA SAUCE 
2 lbs. ground chuck
2 lg. cans tomato puree
2 lg. cans crushed tomatoes
1 lg. can tomato paste
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
6 tbsp. sweet basil
1/2 c. sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. water

Brown meat and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for about 3 hours. Makes enough for freezing.
