DOG EAR DUMPLINGS 
Sift together:

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cut in 3 tablespoons shortening. Add enough milk (about 2/3 cup) to make a biscuit dough. Roll out thin 1/8 inch and cut into strips or squares. Drop into boiling broth and cover tightly. Cook on low heat 20-25 minutes.

I use a 50/50 mix of chicken broth and buttermilk instead of plain milk. Results are AMAZING!!!
