SKILLET GOULASH 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1 can tomato juice (1 pt.)
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. paprika
4 carrots, pared & quartered
1/2 head of cabbage (cut in 4 wedges)
1 can (1 lb.) whole potatoes, drained
1 tsp. caraway seeds

Mix ground beef with salt and shape into balls (12). Brown patties in large frying pan. Remove from pan and set aside. Stir tomato juice, 1 teaspoon salt, corn syrup and paprika into pan. Add carrots; cover. Simmer 10 minutes. Add cabbage, potatoes and meat patties. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Simmer 20 minutes longer or until cabbage and carrots are tender.
