STUFFED PEPPERS 
6 green peppers
2 c. chopped chicken or veal
3 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. buttered bread crumbs
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk or cream
Onion juice

Cut top from the peppers. Remove carefully all seeds and tongue. Cut thin slices from the bottoms so the peppers will stand. Melt the butter; add the flour and seasonings. Add the milk and onion juice. Add meat and fill the peppers with the mixture.

Cover with crumbs made by stirring 2/3 cup bread crumbs into 2/3 tablespoon melted butter. Place peppers in a baking dish and cover bottom with boiling water. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
