STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
2 lg. green bell peppers
5 oz. ground turkey, veal or lean ground beef
1/3 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. (2 oz.) cottage cheese
1/2 tsp. dried sage (opt.)
2 tbsp. dried chopped parsley
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. tomato sauce

Rinse peppers and remove tops, core and seeds. Arrange in an 8-inch square dish, cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on high 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.

In a bowl, mix meat, onion, cottage cheese, sage, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs and tomato sauce. Spoon mixture into peppers. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on high 9 to 10 minutes or until meat is well done. Let stand 5 minutes. Makes 2 servings, 195 calories each.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
