DAIRY BURGER DISH | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 c. sour cream 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 5 green onions, chopped 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes 1 c. cottage cheese 2 c. cooked noodles, drained 1 tsp. Romano cheese (opt.) 1. Crumble ground beef in 2 quart glass casserole dish. Stir in onions. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap. 2. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients, except cheddar cheese. Recover. 3. Microwave on Med-High (70% power) for 15 to 16 minutes, or until hot. Remove from microwave. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over top. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Makes approximately 4 to 6 servings. Serve with garlic toast or bread. NOTE: Cooking time listed is for 600 to 700 watt ovens. Smaller ovens will require longer cooking time. |
