MUSHROOM SPREAD 
8 oz. mushrooms, coarsely chopped (about 2 c.)
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp. salt
Butter flavored crackers

Cook and stir mushrooms, onion in butter over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed. Blend mushroom mixture, cream cheese and salt in blender on high speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Pour into serving dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours.
