COCONUT MACAROONS 
1/2 loaf white bread (sandwich slice)
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) bag shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease a shallow cookie pan. Trim crust off each slice of bread. Cut bread into 1-inch strips. Take Eagle Brand milk and pour into a shallow pan. Take coconut and empty onto a sheet of waxed paper.

Take strips of bread; roll in Eagle Brand milk, then roll in coconut. Place coated strips in greased pan. Bake in oven until coconut begins to turn brown. Take out and cool on a sheet of waxed paper.
