SHOO - FLY CAKE 
4 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix first 4 ingredients together. Set aside 1 cup of crumb mixture to use for topping. Mix molasses, water, and baking soda together to remaining crumb mixture. The batter will be very thin. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining cup of crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 12 to 15.
