SHOO - FLY CAKE 
5 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

LIQUID:

1 3/4 c. hot water
1 3/4 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda

Put crumb part in a bowl and work together. For liquid part, put soda in water and add to molasses. Stir about 1/2 part crumb into liquid. Pour into greased baking pan and put remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
