CREAM SOUP MIX 
To use in recipes calling for canned cream of ______ soups in one dish meals.

2 c. nonfat milk
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. instant chicken bouillon granules
2 tbsp. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients. Store in airtight container. Equals 9 cans of soup. TO USE:

1/3 c. mix
1 1/4 c. cold water

Combine in saucepan; cook and stir until thickened. For cream of mushroom soup, add sauteed mushrooms. For cream of celery, add sauteed celery.
