SNICKER CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped nuts
42 caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. chocolate chips

Follow cake mix directions. Then add melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, and nuts. Put about half of this batter in a 9 x 13 inch floured and buttered pan. Bake at 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass pan) for 20 minutes.

Melt the caramels in 1/2 cup evaporated milk. When they are melted, pour on baked batter. Spread chocolate chips on this. Pour the remaining batter on top and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.
